Hey, i will be starting the p90x program in a week or two, i just need to get the chin up bar. I live in canada and havent found anywhere that sells a chinup bar like the p90x one. I already tried to buy the Iron Gym Extreme(been eyeing it for a few days) but the bastards over at amazon don't ship to canada and the amazon.ca shop doesn't carry it. Where can i get it, i tried walmart and zellers. I live in toronto. It's time to whip my skinny ass into one buff(Big Ugly Fat Fucker for some).

P90x isn't good if you want to bulk up and gain muscle. It will be good for some lean muscle but honestly you'll probably gain 5-10 pounds of lean muscle over the 12 week period. Its really meant for people who are a little overweight who wanted to get completely shredded.

Check out my thread in the lounge about weight loss and whatnot, I am about to cover this. In short though it's better than doing nothing, but nothing revolutionary. It's based on the same premise as an open source fitness model www.crossfit.com , but tweaked, packaged up, and marketed properly. It's OKAY, but it's not what I'd suggest to get started. Read the latter part of my thread for info on the 5x5 workout . It will give you a good base to start with. Right now you probably don't have anything to show after getting ripped =/ Do starting strength/5x5 for a few months then mess around with something like this.

I have been doing martial arts for about 5 years so i'm not exactly out of shape, from what i've seen so far people with a similar body structure have been able to get the kind of results that i'm looking for. I don't know though.
