Anyways, I tried a tablet (hasn't been released to the market yet) with Win8 on it that my friend owns. It seems to be basically Windows 7 with the option to switch to tablet mode, i.e. Windows Phone style.

Seems pretty decent.

Can't believe u're clueless still.

Anyways, not to be rude.

I installed win 8, did like the speed and that's it. I don't like their new user menu and etc.

Would be good for a touchscreen

Its 90% the same as Windows 7. I've played with it, and unless you have a touch screen and actually like that "home page" type deal, the new features are pretty much useless.

I haven't used it myself as it wouldn't install on virtualbox for some reason, but I have seen some screenshots and read some writeups about it. Like people have already said: it seems very similar to Win7 which, in my opinion, isn't a bad thing

I just switched my main desktop to Win7 so it'll be quite some time before I change again. My laptops run Windows Vista which will be upgraded soon to 7. I still miss XP
