What I do is buying products locally [ mainly craigslist and offerup ] then reselling them on ebay...

The problem with that method is that its extremely time consuming and takes a lot of effort, but its definitely profitable...

For instance, today I just bought an iphone 6s 64 Gb unlocked from a local guy for $350... will sell it on ebay for at least $650... the other day I bought a movado watch for $50 and flipped for $150 on ebay...

Whats your method ? you don't have to tell your niche / products just

The purpose here is not to steal methods from one another, but to use other peoples ideas to grow your own ebay business, I believe that way we can all make more money ...

So, your method is to buy local stolen items and resell them to ebay, where tracking is almost impossible, or am I missing something?

What I do is buy from sellers who source their stuff locally, like iphone 6s 64 Gb unlocked for $650 or Movado watches for $150, and then file NAD claims to get my money back and send an empty box as return. Then I sell the iphone to the local guy for $350 and movado watch for $50.

I do the same thing..but both ways.......

I keep a daily eye on things for sale on Craigslist in all different sections....when i see a great deal on something,i'll check on eBay to see what they are going for there if it would be worth it to pay for it from CL and sell on eBay nd still come out at least 100% or more profit after fees and shipping charges(i always try to free shipping,it seems to sell much quicker with a buy it now and free shipping.

I also buy things cheap on eBay and sell locally..i'm into cars and trucks..etc...for an example,a radiator of the same exact brand and model number for my wife's dodge minivan at the local auto stores was right at 150.00 ....on eBay,i bought the same exact radiator for 49.99 with free shipping...if i buy that radiator to sell locally i can easily sell for 100.00 cash...also tires..i keep an eye out on clearances or big sales on tire from eBay..brand new sets, not used..then call a few local tire centers and ask what their price is for the same exact tires..most of the time they are 2-3 times more than the ebay's price........
I always go online and check automotive forums and such and see what is the common problems with certain vehicles that are popular/common in my area and research those parts online and local stores to see the difference in prices

Another good example is,i was out of town working for 2 months, the tires were getting bad on my wife's mini van,i called the local tire center in our area and asked what he could do for me while i was out of town...he gave me a price of almost 700.00 for a common sised 215/70R/15....i went to eBay and found a brand new set of 4 for 200.00 on sale shipped for free, and she had them in 3 days..payed 50.00 to have them mounted and balanced.

In my area there is a boatload of 4x4 vehicles and people ready to pay hefty prices for huge tires and mud tires..i regularly buy sets of them on eBay and sell for a huge profit to the local ,mostly on Facebook for sale pages, there is guys on there asking a higher price for used tires of the same i am selling new..it pisses them off...lol

This can work in many different Niches, just takes a lot of research sometimes and buying the things online so you have it when they WANT it and not having to wait for it to be shipped, otherwise they'll just buy it online

Uh huh....so you think it might be legal to sell pirated fake brand name merchandise? And this is after they sent you the cease and desist notification for selling VERO stuff? Are you pulling our legs or are you really that dumb?

Well, why someone to sell his stuff for dirty cheap if it's not stolen? I believe that this method suits to dealers of stolen goods that wish to remain untraceable...
Buying on EBAY and sell locally is another story, that can be done because not all guys have good info about the best prices around, so you can take advantage of their ignorance!
Too much hassle overall and limited potential profit IMO...

I used to sell Games Consoles accessories for about 20% higher than their amazon price, then buy direct from them and ship to the buyer. Had to make a few account however because Amazon only let me buy 2 of each item per month. Method worked great until the item got saturated

Man searching craigslist and meeting in person to buy the item then resell on ebay seems like a lot of legwork and extremely hard to track. I think arbitrage is the way to go in this space.
