Do you really get to just cast a line out whenever? Also, by el cheapo, does that mean flip phone?
I do get to cast a line whenever I want. That is one of the benefits of the backyard being water.
It's a Samsung Galaxy 5 - I think I paid 50.00 for it when I bought it... I'm not a phone guy so it does all I could ask for me.
BTB, it's not nice to tempt northern country guys to go live where the weather is warm.
The lot next door sold for a tad over 80K - you can afford that@

What do you catch when you wet a line BTB ?

Bass and Crappie - there are some carp in there but they were imported to help keep the bottom clean.

I actually have the latitude and longitude as I bought coasters for cups with them on it from etsy but the exact location is not important.

Nah, the one that generated the view is a pro... I'm just one of the beneficiaries of the view.
We are fine this time of year but come the summer it can be brutal so hopping in that lake is the way to go.
Looks a lot nicer than my backyard with a foot of snow covering everything
I gave up the snow 20+ years ago... you can have my share.
Carp fishing is not a deal in this part of Florida as we use them to maintain the bottom as opposed to fish. Bass is the main fish that is caught in this body of water.
I did screw up when we originally moved here and shot a carp from my deck as we thought it was a gator; not my finest moment.

do yall stock your pond as well? ( I catch neighboring ponds bass and take them to mine muahahah! )
