Ok so, I'd like to hear your opinions on this.

When someone asks you to help them, how far do you go?

Here is an example. I do a bit of ewhoring, well alot. I make my living that way. No one helped me, I had to figure out 90% of this stuff on my own, make my own methods, etc etc. So I offer 1 on 1 help whenever needed.

    These are the problems:
    1. People want you to help them 1 on 1 without knowing anything at all. Wtf like some literally don't even read any threads or do any research on their own. With this problem I usually grin and bare it or tell them to read some threads first then if they still don't get it, ask.

    2. If you show someone an example of your email you use, posts, or websites they could steal them. This has actually happened to me a few times and VERBATIM and this is from people on this forum!

    3. Tell them your method they can over saturate it, put it on a money making website, sell it as an ebook. Ya definitely over saturation! Say GOOD BYE to your bread and butter money!!

So now when people contact me for help, hell ya ofcourse there is always a sob story. Im broke, I have kids that need to be fed, etc. Well only kind of background I can do is check out their posts on here and then google their name. Now, do you think I need to be telling people my secrets and showing them my stuff when I know they have experience in black hat based on their posts and they claim to already make mucho dinero in their posts? I mean wouldn't the dangers most likely happen since you know they can utilize it to the fullest capabilities? Or you know their sob story is totally bogus, based on their posts or they just lied A LOT and their posts are bogus (cant be both!).

You tell me, how far do you go? How do you know who to trust? I'm pretty skeptical now when people email me asking for help, been burnt soo many times. Especially when stuff doesn't add up or they insult me, or I just plain don't like them. Am I being mean?

You tell me what you think., how far do you go? What precautionary measures do you take when helping people with your BREAD AND BUTTER methods? I'm thinking certain things make a person pretty shady, what things make you think people are shady??

Ya I am totally starting to get to that point which is why I made this post. The opinions made will help me make my decision whether to stop or not.

'...It is a sad fact that anything a person receives for nothing is valued less. This is human nature.

If you work you dangly-bits off and purchase your first Ferrari, you will appreciate it more and are less likely to wrap it around a lamp post than if Daddy bought it for you.

Helping people is good karma. Pointing or steering people in the right direction, helping them to avoid pitfalls or mistakes you discovered along the way is a generous thing to do.

Giving everything away is not only a bad thing for the person receiving the free gift, but is bad business practice for you.

In the main, we are dealing with total strangers on this and any forum and it is therefore difficult to judge someone's integrity.

I have been in business a long time and can spot a fake or fraudster a mile off. I also inherited a bullshit-o-meter from my Father, who was an astute judge of character and has saved me from money-grabbing women more than once. More than that, although i am no scam artist, you can't kid a kidder and i know all the tricks and invented one or two myself.

I will help anyone and I never seek reward, but give everything away?...Not a chance! I have drawn blood getting to where I am today and every drop was mine. If you want to make it to the top you, me or anyone else cannot put you there. You'll only fall off if we did. You must make the climb, stumble and learn and finally when you have made it, you can be proud you did it all yourself, with the occasional unperceivable nod of thanks back in the direction of those who helped you get there'.

LOL truer words were never spoken.
    But question is,

how far do you go? How do you know who to trust? I'm pretty skeptical now when people email me asking for help, been burnt soo many times. Especially when stuff doesn't add up or they insult me, or I just plain don't like them. What precautionary measures do you take when helping people with your BREAD AND BUTTER methods? I'm thinking certain things make a person pretty shady, what things make you think people are shady??

edit: i must of been writing this right as you posted your reply magician. but perfect and well spoken, perfect advice :)

I help Noobs but I won't spoon feed the information. Most of the time I give them the outline of how to make money and expect them to use their mind to come up with the rest. If they're not bright enough to do that then I just refer them to a thread on BHW

I usually try to chime in with a little bit of info to get them started. Depending on their next questions, I know if they're a total noob or someone who just needs some guidance. I will -and have- gone out of my way to help the latter via the thread or pm's. Through this I've gained a friend I can trust in this business. Kindness does pay off :)

For the total noobs I definitely understand everyone's frustration and I usually just choose to scroll past their post and let them find google on their own.

Yup, im not so much worried about frustration. I do get worried about peoples stories not adding up though and those people just trying to steal methods and over saturate them or sell them. Like stealing your site verbatim? Come on! Saying youre broke but post all these make this much in this many days methods on here? Come on! Either youre lying in your post, or youre lying about being broke, cant be both....

Helping people on bhw will in return help you back some way or another. That's how I look at it.

That's what alot of people expect us of. They want information on "how can I make money now". I help them out by giving them the right direction in which they should go. I had help from people in this forum, and I feel obligated to give that help back.

yup i agree, i literally have helped 98% of the people who have contacted me, which have been a lot. unfortunately 65% of those people have stolen my stuff. so i have not gained much back but lost a lot of money cuz of time and people stealing. but the ones who signed under me or didn't steal anything, i guess i gained some from so prolly 35% of the 98%....
only a couple people tho out of that 35% have done work and since they are signed under me i get a little referral %.

I bet you had to read a lot to learn everything right? Tell them to read. Thats the best advice you can give them. Read for days on end, every post here, every post at some other forums. Just read.

Yeah, I don't give people my best methods. I give them methods that work and make money, and in a way that I don't lose anything out of it. It's basically just re-hased words that I use from methods shared here.

Most of the greatest money making methods on bhw come from the money making section. Just do a little research, tweak it, experiment, apply yourself, and you have made yourself your own guru.

It also takes investments. My biggest earnings, were from my biggest investments.

I would give tips, but I surely wouldn't give away all your most profitable secrets. Maybe steer someone to where they may discover some tips of their own. A lot of times, people may just want to hear the same things they've read before only stated differently so maybe it'll "click".
