As i received many PM's regarding - "How to contact guest blogger to publish my article"

If i send private message - They only get benefited, If i post in public - Everyone get benefited. If i speak right :) This makes me to post my tactics openly for our fellow BHW'ers.

Here're few of our sample email proposal, which we have used before.

Hopefully, I helped some of the guys to get their articles published on Guest blogs. Now, it's my time - Don't PM asking for solutions, Instead post here. I will try to help you all out.

Just some feedback...anytime I see subject lines like those = automatic delete. Anytime the email is littered with smiley faces = deleted. Those things make it look like you are trying way too hard.

Use short and to the point messages. And always end with asking them what you can do for them. Ending with that question helps to get a reply. Key: don't sound like 99.99% of the other people sending guest post emails. Site owners and bloggers aren't stupid...they can smell a GO request thirsty for a link a mile away. Be short. Be to the point. And ALWAYS end your email with a question...asking what you can do for them.

Bookmarked. Thanks for the awesome post. I have been meaning to reach out other bloggers for a while but was not sure how to. What is your average success rate with these templates, btw, if you don't mind sharing. Also, do you accept guest bloggers?

I get hundreds of emails like these a week on my websites, and I ignore every single one.

The only ones I respond to are short and natural-looking that don't look like spammy bullsh*t.

This will get 100x more responses, I guarantee it.

Nice. But these are just ways to contact guest blogger - Don't use the same format, As netmoney1 said make subject line & content (non promotional - straight to the point), So then you can expect positive reply from guest blogger.

Appreciated your feedback - This is what i expected from every guy to share their own feedback, we will add your valuable points & certainly your feedback will be helpful. Many thanks.

So here're the valuable points at a glance :

    - ALWAYS end your email with a question - high chance of getting reply from blogger.
    - email message shoudn't be way promotional - it needs to be short & to the point message.

Success rate always depends on how good your message to the blogger as well as the mind of blog owner. If you follow the steps, you can change mind of blogger to respond :)

Success rate is medium, if we send out 30 emails, we get average of 10 - 12 replies within 2 - 3 days & some might take longer time to respond & few doesn't care to respond.

we are in the process of finding out Reasons for non reply bloggers. Hopefully we find out answer soon & update you in upcoming days.

Great share at the right time - Valuable points to consider, good stuff!

IMHO there is too much fluff in these emails. I would delete them shamelessly.

Better to be short and speak straight to the point. You and the site owner both understand what you intend to do on his blog, so why wrap the obvious in lies?

    Thanks for the appreciation!

Alright! But we have got good response from many blogger's. Thus makes me to provide guest blogging as a service. But i do agree on your point. If you can share one or two best proposals that you have got would be useful for this thread. Thanks!

I do agree - message wants to be simple & straight forward. But it doesn't applicable for all the blogs. I just shared some of my techniques on how to contact guest blogger the right way. You see - I received good attention with these proposals than the simple ones.
