Okay, I'm sure you've seen plenty newbies like myself asking for help on getting started with internet marketing.
I am yet another NEWBIE. I'm extremely confused on the different techniques out there. I'm willing to spend a minimum of 3-4 hrs/day to spare to focus on internet marketing. I decided to go into Internet Marketing to supplement my current income

I've been reading this forum and realize that I need to start out by narrowing down a niche and finding a good keyword. I've have Market Samurai to help with finding a good niche and keyword.

I think I understand how to set up a domain with host gator but I don't have a clue on how to design a website or how to use wordpress (or similar website developing programs).

At this point I'm truly overwhelmed. I started out learning with thirty day challenge but quickly realized that they were just trying to get you to buy a membership (wordpressdirect).

I've read some of the thread stickies under the 'make money' forum on getting started, finding a niche, targetting your audience etc but no one really goes into specific on the technical stuff.

Can anyone help please? Thank

This is a business in which you really need to put your thinking cap on. You need to choose a method if you've already chosen a niche to test. If your niche is, let's say, weight loss, then you need to figure out what you want to do to work in that niche. Will you be blogging? Are you going to promote affiliate products off clickbank? CPA offers?

Choose niche, then choose method. Then work that method as best as possible. Search the forum to refine/improve that method. Then implement new methods.

Affiliate Marketing is good for both starters and Pros in my opinion :). You have made a nice choice and now just go and make some videos and spread them on all Video sites like crazy. You will see Bank coming your way soon :D
 
Thanks. Now my next question is how to use a software to copy a website? Basically, I will search for one of those 'get ripped in 30 days' website, then copy it, edit the website to my liking and use it. I guess I just need a good foundation course that teaches how to go from landing page, to order confirmation page

if you need to copy a website google "sea monkey" IMO its a pretty good program for that:tee:

You don't have to buy a membership to wordpressdirect you could just setup wordpress on it's own pick a theme and add a few plugins all for free. Another choice for you to design websites is xsitepro2 which is excellent for begginers and is available on here for free aswell.
 
Thanks, thanks and thanks for all the responses. I'll start working on this methods. I will be donating to BlackHat too because I feel that I will learn a lot from here and it's only fair to give back.

So here's what I plan to do so far:
1.) find a good niche
2.) understand the audience for my niche
3.) get good keywords for my niche (I'm using market samurai to do this, any other advice would be helpful)
4.) choose a domain name
5.) set up a hosting domain account with host gator
6.) sign up with clickbank or other affiliate networks to promote a product
7.) Make videos hyping the product??? ( don't have a clue on how to do this or video editing software to use)
8.) create a good landing page w/videos attached (I guess I'll be using wordpress or xsitepro2 to do this)
9.) Linking landing page to affiliate??? (don't know how to do this either)
10.)Sales confirmation


Am I doing this in the right order? thanks
 
search youtube on here, someone put on some good video software to edit and watermark vids:D
