Help with UNAUTHORIZED CHARGES!

I was checking my account balance on my check card and saw the following:

Debit: $39.00 from merchant 234567890 PAYPAL *NICHEMARKET

I go0gle'd the merchant ID but cant seem to find out who it is due to so many different complaints. I don't know if this is a clickbank Item or not but I haven't used this card for anything except gas and food so I know It was not authorized.

Does anyone know how to find out who this is or how I can get my money back without filling a dispute (I'm going to file one if I can't get some help)?

call your bank and file a dispute. they will most likely freeze the account and keep it open until the disputed charges are returned to your account. they'll issue you a new check card and account number to keep any new charges being made.

Are you sure it's something you didn't charge and maybe they displayed a different company name? I will do this sometimes. I will buy an item online and the name of the charge company is entirely different and I will swear that I didn't make the purchase until I figure it out.

Hopefully it wasn't a fraudulent charge though.

kind of weird that it would be fraud, but yet it's a charge that relates to something you would be engaged in. if it were for a girl's bike at wal-mart it would be a different story. good luck with the dispute!

@ popcrdom29 No I haven't used this to buy anything. I mean I don't need to with the member downloads here...Nah mean?

Think I was in one of these downloads here and it took me to a payment screen but I never entered any info. Just cant remember which one So don't know how they got my information. The only other thing I used it for was to purchase some domain names.
