I soon will be in the process of creating a product. I dont know if I should do it as ebook or something else. Can I have your opinion?

It has to do with blackjack and counting cards. Living in Atlantic City I know some people. I have a guy at one of the casinos that is taught how to know if someone is counting cards. Its not illegal to count its just they can kick you out if caught. I will be learning strategies, and I wuold like to them.

Do you think it is a good idea to create and if so do you think ebook?

Thanks

biginch,

If you were asking me as a professional marketer, I would do a DVD with an accompanying book and make it available at casino shops in Atlantic City and Las Vegas etc. If possible I would also do basic, intermediate and advanced versions. A series like this will greatly improve sales especially if a discount offer is available for purchasing all three at the same time. Time sensitive vouchers could also be included in the box to tempt people who only purchased the first one to buy again.

In addition, I would make all of this available as a download product as well.

It does all depend on how good your product will be and your budget, although to get DVD's pressed professionally can be cheap enough these days.

If you can get a professional gambler or two to endorse your product you now have testimonials to add to all your promo stuff.

It is important to have a very clever title for the series and stunning graphics for the packaging, website and for promotional material, especially as there is plenty of card counting stuff already available...But that, my friend, is what I get paid to do.

Good luck with your project!

themagician, thanks you nailed it. The only thing i dont think im allowed to do is sell in a casino. But then again I dont know. My whole family has been working in the atlantic city casinos since resorts the first casino opened up.

I do the love the approach you mentioned. I do have access to celebrities, but never tried with professional gamblers. I will try my source and see when I can stand with that.

Thanks

biginch,

If YOU can't get your finished product into the casino shops, find someone who can. This means you will have to pay them i.e. they will purchase some hundreds of your product at a discount price to sell at full retail. There's still plenty of money in it for you and you do get to move a lot of product, especially as they will purchase a job-lot right at the beginning. Avoid sale-or-return deals.

Actual casinos might not want your product in their shops as it teaches card counting, although I suspect they are so arrogant as to believe they can spot it every time.

No matter, there are plenty of book shops that carry a huge selection in casino towns. Don't forget the airport shops too. (Ideal souvenir of your Atlantic City trip!). This would be a sticker placed over the cover. City changed according to where the product is sold.

Call it something like: "Card Counting Magic" and you'll have the magic fraternity purchasing it as well. You might even get it into somewhere like the Lance Burton Magic Shop at the Monte Carlo/Vegas.

Never been to Atlantic City but I know Las Vegas well.

Again, Good Luck!
