Help with paypal!

Ok so part of my income comes from freebie sites. Last month I completed many offers using the paypal plug in to generate vccs and I never even bothered to cancel the offers so now I am being charged for a lot of products I never even wanted in the first place. I took all of the money out of my paypal and I though that the transactions would just be denied. Well I didn't think that paypal would give them the money and than go into my bank account that I have connected to my account and take the money. At the moment I have 4 pending transactions on my paypal account which all add up to around 300 and I cannot cancel my paypal account because of the active transactions and I cannot remove my bank account from my paypal account because paypal says that I have pending transactions connected to my bank which do not show on my bank transactions so I don't even know which transactions those are. I have talked to my bank and I disputed the money that paypal already took from my bank within the last week and my bank is going to give me the money back. My bank says that they cannot do anything and when I called paypal they said the same thing. So I don't know what to do? Any advice will be much appreciated. Also I can't cancel my bank account because I am waiting for some money to be transfer to it and I am waiting for my bank to give me my money back. And I can't call my bank and dispute the transactions that paypal is going to put through again because it is just going to look too suspicious because I told my bank that paypal is giving them the money even though I cancel the trials..and I really didn't..

You really need to read about PayPal. Should have known from the start that if there are no funds in your account Paypal will take the money from your bank account. Your fault for not being aware.

Keep talking to your bank and don't listen to Paypal.

I could not read your post but if it is about paypal sucking balls yeah we already know . They just magicly did an inguiry on a 200.00 payment that made my Acc go negative . i am not that worried it was only 200.00 but still is theft anyway you look at it .

Magicly paypal said to themselves hey this does not look right . well let us take a look at it . Ohh we need the cash out of his account to look at what happened . :O That can not be legal .

Really POed my pop who happens to be a lawyer . He went off in left field about it . But hey it is only money . If I make 500.00 and use paypal they steal 200.00 from me it is still 300.00 profit.

I see your problem, don't you have a way to cancel the subscription or something? Should be a way if that is paying is still active or pending right?

edvoltage1 - I hate to break it to you, man...but the companies had every right to take the money from you since YOU DID NOT CANCEL the subscriptions. And yeah, darklegion is correct in saying that it IS in p@ypal's terms and conditions to take the money from the next available source of funds (i.e. your bank account)-- it's their way of protecting sellers from fraudsters (if you sell at eb@y, you'd understand this)

My friend used to work for pp's customer service dept (he took a beating from me a while back!

) and from what he's told me, pp is primarily user-initiated and it only processes payments, acting as a bridge between buyers and sellers.

What you can do is contact the "seller" (i.e. company) directly, cancel your subscriptions, file a complaint, make a scene letting them know the "product" was not as good as you wanted it to be, demand a refund or whatever. The thing you have to understand is that, your money is NOT with pp-- it's with these companies. So you have to deal with THEM.

If it's any consolation, the refunded amount will be returned by way it was sourced...meaning it will go back to your bank account. But the worst part of this is not that it might take days or even months to sort it it out, but it can get really, really ugly.
