I was wondering if anyone could me in the right direction here. I built a local website on a separate domain to target keyword / city of an already established website so that I have full control of the marketing. The site ranked for all of its keywords one the first page for the first week it was indexed. Now half the pages, all that are the same keyword with different city's have been dropped to beyond the 10th page. I'm going to say half of them have been dropped. I haven't built any links to the site yet. Should I start building links? They went from first page to not on the top 10 pages in 5 days. could it be a content issue? I pretty much just switched around the wording of the 4 pages and re-keyworded them.

This is completely normal, new sites bounce up and down for weeks/months. Start building links to it and it'll start to settle eventually :)!
