I'm trying to get a better understanding on keyword research and competition. Like right now I've found a 5-word keyword phrase with some search traffic and I'm trying to see how easy it would be for me to rank. When I lookup the phrase in Google it has 12,000 results. But in the top 10 it seems like all of them are missing atleast 1-2 words from the phrase in the title (but appears on-page). Then when I do an INURL lookup, there's only 1 result.
How would I tell for sure if I would be able to easily rank for it? What concerns me most is every single URL on the first page has a DA of atleast 50 (ranging all the way up to 100). And the PA is between 40 and 60.
Any suggestions/tips on how I can figure out this keyword research stuff better?
