Ok So I am working on getting the traffic for my cpa offers from CL. I just don't know how to redirect the link. do i just mask the link with a domain that is related to the offer? If I do that though wouldnt my cpa network see that my traffic is coming from CL? So practically my question is how do I trick my CPA network into thinking that my traffic is coming from somewhere else?

would i use the wp to fake the referral? i am so confused

the safest way, at least from what i've learned, is to create a double meta refresh. Meaning you are sending traffic to your website (with a CPA offer on it), but the traffic won't be tracked by the referrer.

keep in mind, the referrer will still know what your quality of leads are.

create a nice looking landing page and use Cpa Redirector script (standalone or WP version) to fake referrer..
And you send traffic from CL to yourhost.c0m/postname.php?mn=xxx or something like that

Do you currently have a site? If so, is it WP based? You should do a DMR if you want to blank the referer. Do a redirect via your site if you want yoursite.com/somepage.php to be your referer.

    Hope that helps

Send your traffic to a very basic landing page with a huge "click here to continue to blah.com (or whatever)"

You may lose a bit of traffic but it is bomb proof.

You could also have an auto redirect on that page so when the aff manager sees it in the referer and checks it, it will look legit but not forward for him as he would not have the magic number :)

You could, but i am trying to explain a simple, no-nonesense fail-safe method using nothing even remotely resembling a script, app or anything else. Very easy for noobs.

Yeah that would be the easiest way but will have less conversions.

The way I use it is to set up one main domain with CPA redirector that includes all of the offers listed. I then setup up several additional domains (of course the number of domains you want to use all depends on the amount of ads you are posting since it is wise to rotate these) all with WP and CPA redirector installed. Next, I configure redirector on each of these domains by adding the magic number urls for the offers that are included from my main domain. These links will be what are posted on CL instead of the main domain magic number urls.

It will go through two redirects this way to get to the offer url but this prevents your main url from ever being exposed. The main domain that my AM sees and that I show as a referer will never be posted on CL. I do this for one so that it will not be indexed by search engines and another reason is that CL will eventually blacklist the domain after a while.

Agreed, but you would be surprised how little of an impact it has on your conversions.

what i plan to do is create a wp page with the offers on it and drive traffic to my site and let people click on the particular offer that appeals to them...so what is wrong if i create a link on c.l. that sends the people to my page and then they click on the offer...how will the network know where the lead came from other than my page which is optimized for the promo?...(im rather new to all of this so please forgive my ignorance if the answer is something obvious that i have overlooked)

I think that if you do it that way than your network will just think that your traffic is coming from your webpage. (not sure though). Mine is different though because I am sending my traffic from cl directly to my offers (which is doing really good right now:)

C.L. will most likely ghost your ads with a url link. When directing traffic to your website and then hoping someone will click your link, this is a two step process and could impact your conversion. It is true that your network will know that your traffic is coming from your page.

But, isn't it better if for instance you post a link in craigslist then use Brad's redirector and brings them directly to the offer with the source as your page with CPA redirector.

    Or like this
    (1)
    Craigslist link /?xxx -->Page(with CPA director)transparent --> Offer
Problem with this is most likely it will be ghosted and the link index by google.

    (2)
Craigslist add-->Email reply --> Email response pointing to CPA redirector page --> offer
This prevents ghosting hopefully depending on your add. But could still be indexed by big G.

    (3) Craigslist add --> Email reply --> Email response pointing to subdomain of your page with no follow codes so big G will not index it --> CPA redirector page -->Offer

    Check Brad's great post
