Hey guys,

I just logged into my amazon account and saw that my account has been closed due to long time inactivity.
I'm not going to try to get it reopened but am getting a new account instead.
My question is what kind of website would be suitable for applying for amazon associate program now?

I remember back in 2010 it was quite easy,I just use a really crappy 2-page website and got accepted.
I read a lot of threads saying they have tigthen up the requirements now.

Is it ok to have a 5-page new website to apply for it now? What kind of content would be best to put on the website?
Please give me some advice.

Thanks a lot.

Amazon dont really care... just make a new blog put on a fancy theme and about 8 product articles.

It's totally ok. I bet nothing has really changed since those times. Just provide them with a brief profile about your website (describe type of content, monetization methods, link building methods) and that's it.

Basically any website which a bunch of content (5 articles minimum) should do.
Make sure to include legal information and make it look like a serious website.
Do not forget to explain them how you plan to include amazon affiliate links.

So sad news for your business!!! Here, you argued that you again created website including 5 page. If your all contents are unique then it's okay for submitting application. It would better if you included above 8 contents ( each content above 300 words). Then you became sure for approved. What about your idea? Are you agree to include 8 content?

I need to create new website as I stopped renew all my websites a few years ago.

Do you think I should use 8 articles about product reviews or should I mix in some 'how to' articles?Cheers.
