I have a website hosted with OVH.
OVH has his company head quarters in France. It is a french company. All hosting invoices come from France and may payments to them goes to their accounts in France.
However my site is hoster in their German IP. (OVH has several servers in europe....)

    Question:

From legal point of view, Is the revenue made from my website based in Germany or in France ?

If I live in France, will my revenue will be considered earned in French territory or in German territory ?

    Thanks for your answers

If you're a private person in France, then actually any income you get there as a private person has to be taxed.
It doesn't really matter where the income was generated, because if you receive money on your french bankaccount while living and working in France, it's considered earned in France.

It all depends on the country where you're living in or where your company is located. For example: in Malta you do not have to pay taxes on income which you receive from activities outside of the country. So it's something you will have to look up for the country that you're interested in. However in most countries you have to report any income you receive, no matter in which country that it was paid from. Of course if it's small amounts then you can "forget" to report it, however if you start earning a couple of hundred/thousand euro's a month it might be better to report it.
Also in most cases it's more interesting to set up a company instead of receiving the payments in your personal name.
