Help re fanpage iframes

Hi guys,

They say there is no such thing as a stupid question but that's what I'm feeling right now so I hope you can be gentle with me!!!

I have set up a test fanpage and followed the folowing:
1) Designed the page at 520 px
2) uploaded to server
3) Gone to FB developers, set up canvas page apps/fb.com/example/ etc and Named the tab lets say ABCD
4) Gone to FB pages set up new page and added the app to the page.

This is where I am having problems. I see the tab name ABCD on the left hand side bar and have set this to be the default splash page but the wall comes up, is this because I am logged into my account? If not how do I get the tab of the app ie the designed home page to show by default as I think I have completed all the steps?

When signed out of the account I was expecting to put a url of FB/example as used above to view the page but I get a page not found error however if I copy and paste the long url that includes the following 161754683882225?sk=app_15130290160356.(example for this message)then the page shows.

How do you make the page show so you just have FB/your page name?

Again sorry if these are idiot questions but I'm banging my head at the moment.

A few things here

1. you need to go to edit page - manage permissions - and set 'default landing page' to your app
2. As administrator of your page, it won't go to your app. You will need to test that by being someone else.
3. Please note, the default landing page ONLY works for users that have NOT liked your page, once a page is like it always goes to the 'wall'
4. You can not NAME your page e.g. facebook - example until you have 25 likes
to do that, go to edit page - basic information and see the field username

Please note, that the username redirection in facebook is buggy try googling 'facebook page not found' and see how many peopel have problems with this.

Until you have 25 likes or to avoid the facebook bugs you could redirect your own domain to something like mydomain - facebook and direct that to your facebook .. sk app_ , as I am new here I can't post real examples, or links to my videos I have made on the subject, but hopefully my text was clear.
