I don't know what I did, but I didn't manually add any anonym.to redirect codes to my site. But now everytime I try to load my site from my computer/browser it redirects to anonym.to, even the wp-login page. I even tried logging in my site via FTP client and it won't let me, most likely because of this.

Does anyone know how I can fix this problem? I tried clearing my cache and cookies and rebooting and it's still not working. :((( help

I tried in IE and it's still doing the same thing. I can't access any of my categories.

Try checking your hosts file. Maybe something changed it...

I can access through my cPanel, but that's it. I just turned on my GF's desktop computer and I am loading up my site and login fine.. But that doesn't help me because I do the majority of my work on this laptop and I still can't access my site from here. :(

What host files should I check? I'm pretty sure this has nothing to do with my host but just this particular computer.. I must've set it up to redirect my page thinking it was something else. I just don't know how to disable it..

Take a look at hosts file located at My Computer > C: (or whatever drive Windows is on) > WINDOWS > system32 > drivers > etc > hosts
Open it with notepad. The only idea that crosses the mind is that you have a redirect over there.
Meaning, if you have a line, something like
    http://www.mysite.com anonym.to
overthere, then everytime you'll try to reach http://www.mysite.com it would automaticaly redirect to anonym.to

So the problem is with your laptop not WP.. try installing an add-on for firefox called NoScript.. or try disabling java and see if the problem persist..

you must have installed something on your laptop that is causing the redirect..

I owe you big time, this fixed the problem. Soon as I started reading this my short-term memory loss was cured and I remembered I edited that file trying to get the new Backlink thread method to work.. Thank you x100 I don't know what I would have done, Google had nothing to offer me for solutions.

I would like to utilize the backlinks still if I can, I have this listed in my host file:

    127.0.0.1 localhost
    213.203.216.114 hxxt://www.marketsamurai.com
    213.203.216.114 marketsamurai.com
    216.67.238.181:80 popcultnews.com

Good trouble shooting Remington / Nambooooo . I guess the fact that it did it in IE should have given away that it was related to the host file..
