Please, guys! I need your help & suggestions in this matter. I'm struggling because of these Excessively High CPMs!!!

I keep seeing on forums and online groups that the majority of Facebook advertisers usually get an average CPM of $8 to $15 >> ( Targeting USA Conversion Campaigns optimizing for purchases only )

But for me, no matter what I do or change in my ad creatives, adsets targeting, I keep getting any time CPMs between $40 to $60 ( Targeting USA Conversion Campaigns optimizing for purchases only ).

I'm not talking about other campaigns objectives like traffic, engagements, etc.. but only Conversion Campaigns optimizing for purchases because this is my only goal and objective.

So since I know that there are people who manage to get very low CPMs with the same campaign objective in the USA, I'm sure that something is wrong with what I'm doing, but I can't figure it out on my own no matter what I edit.

If you have any suggestions, solutions, or ideas I can try, please let me know because I really need your help!

Thank you all so much.

Hey,

1. Are you running the ad long enough for the CPM pricing to go down or become consistent?
2. Try a click campaign and see what happens. ( You can get sales from click campaigns).

Are you selling one product or multiple products?

1. It's been 17 days now.
2. Do you mean traffic campaigns? If yes I don't think because it gives only low quality traffic that does nothing.
Selling one product (branded store).

Video ads - have you tried those? Also, do you have a free workout guide in your funnel?

I am launching many ad accounts per week, most of them have 10-20$ cpm (USA Nutra ads), then occasionally theres account with 40-60-100$ cpm. And whatever i do, does not matter how many ads i submit, this account will always have high CPM. So i start up next one. Ads on all of my accounts are pretty much the same.

I will give a try. But I will do it in the same Business manager with the same pixel, is that Okay?
Yes, thats okay, in my opinion its like an add accounts gitch. But theres always a chance you ads suck :) Whats ur ad CTR and CPC? For me, usual stats cpm 12$, CTR 3-4% and CPC ~0,30$. I also always do images, videos just do not convert for me.

My CTR varies from 2% to 5.5% it is not stable but my cost per click is high and that's because of the high CPMs. CPC: $0.7 to $1.5
But what if my product can't be sold using only images? It needs videos. How!

I just said images work better for me, it all depends on angle. So yes, if you have decent CTR then you need the way to lower your CPM. Of course you can make an image ad, just to see a CPM on it. Run it for 2-3$ and you see.

Some say you need to run ad long enough for CPM to come down, i have run nutra ads for years, if youre CPM after spending 1$ is 100$, then no way in hell it will be 10$ after you spend alot.

Another thing to consider, i don't know is this real but for me it looks like if i submit my ads right time of the day then i get first impressions with people who more likely show interest in my ads. My "product" people like to discover rather in the evening than in the early morning. And if i start serving my ad in early morning, people dont show interest and my stats are down and CPM higher and its harder to get my stats better later. But if i serve my ads in evening, people start to show interest from first impressions and FB grants me with lower CPM and CPC. If it makes sense to you, you can test it.

What do you mean precisely by resetting Ads Manager?
I hope you expose to me this small thing that I'm overlooking

So I had an issue where FB would automatically turn my ads off. It didn't matter what time of day it was. Their specialist would says there was no one to show your ads to....but when I reset my ads manager....the problem went away. ( This is all from my experience)

I say that to say this - FB is data driven so sometimes erasing stored data on given campaigns - gives you a fresh start.

Also what I do is start with 1 ad or 1 video at the price of my conversion. So if Im selling a $24 product i set that as my budget for the day.
When I make 2X my investment, which would be $48 the next day my budget is $48.

Slowly scaling gives their system time to learn your ads, see the engagement to reward you with lower cost. This has worked for me.

It will be hard to pinpoint the exact problem as I would need to see your complete setup, but just telling what has worked for me.
