I'd ring paypal right away and explain the situation, with situations like this it's the one time I've ever found paypal to be helpful.
I can't believe you paid $97 for Scrapebox!
Change your password, add a new default PP email... Enjoy Your Newly
LOL I dont want the cash (obviously from some type of fraud), just my PP back. Passwords changed, it was the first they make you do, but got to wait 10 days for PP to investigate it. Grrr
Just Call them. DOnt rely on their email support. It is worst.
Call them, explain your situation and request them to transfer your call to Senior executive officer. He will surely help you.
or maybe he buyed scrapeboard? ))
No I bought scrapebox, dont tell me there is a BHW discount code....
Fuck, why didn't I use the search....
Anyway off to phone PP...
that reply made my day I`ll just give you the link of search for future I would recommend you to check your computer with mcafee or any good virus scan , or better just wipe and reinstall your OS , most probably your computer got a naughty keyloger/trojan if you are using this account only for payments for your providers ...
Phoned PP all resolved but they cant lift the limitation so I have to fax or upload a copy of my ID for them to remove the limitation.
Over-paid for SB
This is something very serious. Call PP
Thanks I have and they were allready investigating it since yesterday which I didnt know and it has all been resolved but I have to verify my ID for them to lift the limitation on my account. I have never seen this with Paypal before, must be some new fraud.
or even better premium subscription to DP
Ok enough with the jokes, I have had a bad enough day...
I'd recommend you wipe your system and change all your other passwords too. You have most likely been a victim of a trojan/keylogger.
I would have just said, um, that account I tried to verify with is refusing transactions, So I need to add yet another bank account.
Its almost free money... Even though you were most likely keylogged, I would try to do that.
Oh, and also, There is a little on screen keyboard program that can help prevent losing a lot of personal passwords due to keylogging, or you can try a speech to text program, if your passwords aren't too difficult.
Maybe easy money, but I am not a thief and couldnt keep the money. I just hope the money gets back to the people the 'hacker/s' originally stole it from.
Call them and explain it. The e-mail and resolution center stuff for limited accounts is cookie cutter - you'll wait 2 weeks for each response and it will be a copy+paste that doesn't even apply to you! Call them and talk to a limitation specialist and explain what's up and they'll probably sort it out for you right on the spot.
