Hi, Just a quick background, I've made some money direct linking from Bing Ads to CB. I use Prosper202 to track which keyword converted with no problem. Now, I want to try out using a landing page to try and get their email by offering a free e-book (opt-in page). The ebook will contain links to the sales page. The auto-responder emails will also contain links to the sales page. My questions are: - how do you know which keyword converted or brought the sale when the customer clicked on the link in the e-book? - how do you know which keyword converted or brought the sale when the customer clicked on the link in the email? Here's the setup, for simplicity's sake let's say I have 3 Ad Groups which corresponds to a single keyword. So AG1, AG2 and AG3 corresponds to KW1, KW2 and KW3 respectively. I only have 1 landing page and 1 ebook. When a potential customer clicks on the ad on AG1 and gets redirected to the landing page, of course I get to know the keyword that brought in the click. Now here comes the problem. The link in the ebook is static and so is the link in the email. Which brings me to the questions above. One solution I can think of is to have a dedicated landing page for each Ad Group and simply create a copy of the ebook but with links customized for Ad Group keyword. It is tedious but I guess it will work. The same with the email campaign I guess. Create an email campaign for each Ad Group. But this is very tedious and requires a lot work. Is my strategy wrong? Is there any technical aspect of Propser202 that I don't know of so that I don't have to create a dedicated LP, ebook and email campaign for each AdGroup/Keyword? Any help is very much appreciated.
