Not much to go on there. But if your other articles at least start each sentence with a capital letter then you could use this regex-> (?=(\s[A-Z]))
It matches all capital letters with a blankspace infront and then you can just add the dots.

I use the "Auto Corect" program from softser () ro. It's in romanian but I believe you can change it in english. I haven't tested the english corrections but the romanian ones are really good for a free software.

    Hi,
If you've tried the recommendations above and none work. I suggest you just hire someone to do it for you.

Like that you'd put punctuation before every word, which starts with a capital letter. In the above example: names, countries, nationalities, dog species, abbreviations etc.

If all of OP's texts are formatted like that, which i guess so, the only way to tackle this is manual labour, either your own, OP or someone else's.

That's why I said there wasn't much to go on and IF his other articles were better formatted. Then there would still be manual work.

But even if they're better formatted, the way you suggested, punctuation would be put before names, countries, nationalities, dog species, abbreviations etc.

It could work only, if the articles are better formatted (meaning the first word of every sentence is capitalized) AND there are no other words capitalized in the text other than the first word of each sentence.

Plus it's not even just dots, commas are missing too, questions need question marks, maybe brackets are missing too.

I get that you wanted to help, but i'm afraid this will be 100% manual labour, no matter how much we like to automate everything here. :) I'm pretty sure this would be too complicated for any AI we have available at the moment and it requires human touch.

Yesyes, I thought it was assumed that a regex probably wouldn't solve world peace. I don't mind experimenting and the question was after all if this could be done with a program. Now he has the answear .

Yea, regex is awesome. Only god knows how many work hours it saved me so far, maybe months. I clearly remember when i get into IM 9 years ago, i searched and copied email addresses from blocks of texts manually using no regex, i didn't even know that there's such thing. Searching, copying, formatting took me around an hour per day. With regex it would have been only seconds.

While regex doesn't solve world peace, it's one of my best virtual friends for sure. Notepad++ is the other one. :)
