the question is: what else you have done? like content,PR links, fine tuning,- site improvements, any changes at all on the site.....

besides depending on how many BL you had it will take a bit longer to rank for sure, and after my experience you should focus on Quality BL - yes they cost more - but they are worth it more as you might think ,-)

Have you tried posting an article once or twice a day for the next 45 days? This might sound like something matt cutts would say but I've recovered my site with this method and it's now ranking even better than before it has tanked. Up to you to believe me.

Also, I didn't bother adding any links in that 45 days.

I dont know the full extent. But I know if the damage is hard dont get to attched to a url itself. You might want to think of abandoning the site and starting a new one with a new domain name. Just take content from other site reword a bit.

should help with the time, also don't forget social bookmarks and as per Skyebug, rethink if you want to move on with that site after a while, only time will tell buddy

hmm i think i just recovered from the hummingbird sht, when i was affected i dropped to 100+ places... after a month and over I am now at 30-40th places and still climbing, not enough though it was really good having it recovered. I just build quality backlinks and backlinks day by day thats all. very competitive though about 200k monthly searches.

The easy way is to scrap your domain and buy a new similar one, or you could keep holding onto hope that one day your site will magically be back to normal, or you could believe someones bullshit and pay them loads of money for them to fix it, and realise that they can't

Did you just disavow the links or did you actually try and to get them removed? If you file a reconsideration request, a google spam team member is going to want to see that you actually made an effort to have them removed and not just use the disavow tool.

Few of my sites went down as well, for me it was easier just to move content to other domains, some of them doing better than penalized ones. All depends on how attached you to your sites.

mate - disavowing all of your links isn't gonna do shit

you need to try and remove links first, then disavow. you are wasting time by disavowing all your links and thinking that will do something.

Buy a service that will scan through your sites backlinks and then create a file of bad links to disavow. This may be a long-term effect, or it may be for a few weeks. Do whatever it takes to ease the pain.

Disavowing alone does not work, and if your site is poor quality to begin with, well, it's pretty much done.

lol i would suggest with the banned people say.

work on removing your links before you try and disvow all your links

no need to disavow all links and remove all links, just start with the worst links first.
