So I posted a video on youtube and a company that produces caught on tape and pranks videos contacted me to buy non-exclusive rights to my video for $350. This means I would still own the video but they can use it in their show.
The video is very funny, It's about a prank.
Does anyone know if the price is good or if I should ask for more money? your help is appreciated.

I know they pay about £200 that's about $330 for videos to to used on TV in the UK.
So that's about the going rate I would think.

Never would have thought "prank videos" would be a profitable endeavor.
    Can we see the video?
This might be a niche for people to get into and make money.
I have an idea for a short "gag" video that I intended to use for an SEO customer if I can get them to pay for it.
It's intended to be funny advertisement, but my thinking is that it's so funny it could go viral.
$750 ought to pay for the entire production, so I wonder if it might serve two purposes.

This could also mean opportunity for video students.
Do they have contests, etc... for students to compete for projects like this for cash rewards?
    If not they should.
Might be a great website idea, if it's not being done already.
Set-up the theme of the website soliciting submissions, offering monthly, yearly, "all time" prizes and incentivize people to create and submit video, again if it's not being done already.
