I was browsing these forums and I read stuff about Charon and Codiene ( or something like that ) proxies. I read something like some proxies don't actually give you views or something, and Charon filters out the bad proxies. Then I saw a guy say something like "One of my videos have 80,000 views, but it's only really 3,000". I understood everything until I read that, lol.

So let me get this straight, the proxy list that Tube Increaser provides is 50% useless because it has trash proxies. Charon can filter out those bad proxies. But if you keep the "bad" proxies, you will get "fake" views. Is that right?

Proxies don't have anything to do with good or fake views. Charon is used to test for working proxies. A non-working proxy=bad. If you are using non-working proxies you will not increase views because Tube Inreaser will not be able to use that proxy.
A CoDeeN is a password protected proxy, most proxy testing programs test for CoDeeN because you can't use them.

I would suggest you check out Elite Proxy Switcher. They have a subscription service where you can get a crap load of proxies daily for cheap. Just use EPS to test them and load then into Tube Increaser and you should be cool.

Um I am sorry jmhmedia, but your information is incorrect. Not to offend, but everyone's agenda is to get the correct answer.

First, Codeen is not a password protected proxy. You can use codeen/planetlab proxies but every page you load you get their page saying you are using the codeen network and informs you that your actions are logged. The page is a redirect. So when Tube Increaser pulls the CURL on your video, it gets the planetlab page and gets a 200OK response. Thus TubeIncreaser assumes the view went through when really it didn't. Also not most apps test or filter Codeen proxies. Some of them do like ChickenProx and I believe EPS like you mentioned.

Charon is not only for testing proxies. You can leech google for more proxies, scan the range of proxies you have in your list to find more proxies, or enter in values like 68.55.27.1 - 68.55.27.254 to find any proxies within that range or whatever range you want. Charon also has a very flexible filtering feature. Here is an example of some things to add to your filterfile.

"codeen"
"planetlab"
"plab"
"plan"

Once they are added to your filterfile, you just load a list into charon and click filter, then select "dodgy/dups/gateways" and all bad proxies are removed from your list. I have a whole planetlab filterfile custom made by me, along with government, edu, and other bad proxies that you want to filter out. I may just upload Charon here to BHW with the filterfiles already included.

And a non-working proxies doesn't give you a view, it will just timeout. The fake views you get are usually from redirects.

@shudogg: No offense taken. I was just trying to offer some quick insight. Your review is much more detailed! Thanks

Thank you phuningenji for the thanks. I don't correct people to act all badass, I just do it to help everyone. Now hopefully the bagillion questions on tube increaser can stop. it is rather simple.

It used to work amazingly. I would put 10k views on a video, the app would say 10k, and my video would have a little over 9k. That is pretty damn accurate using proxies! Now with all the newbies thinking you have to boost 100k views on videos, youtube has caught on and started banning proxies, and also the proxy servers are getting abused because thousands of people are using the same list of 100 proxies that TI provides.

tubeincreaser just provide fake views which eventually (hopefully) result in your rank getting higher and real visitors will start watching...
