    Hello everyone.

I am interested in learning about some basic information regarding Article Submitting, and maybe other people will find this information useful as well.

    1) If I want to do everything manually, with unique articles, should I spread the articles out among multiple accounts on the article directory sites? Is there any risk of ban for having multiple accounts?

    2) Should I be afraid of submitting too many articles (3-4 per day) to an article site, when they are all 100% unique?

    3) Am I more concerned with the direct traffic from the article, or the backlink from my article submission? Or are both to be considered equally?

    4) Do article moderators ban easily for small things such as blatant advertising? Am I "supposed" to blatantly advertise my website at either the end of the article, or in the author bio box? Should I be more discrete when submitting my link to my website, or is it ok since my articles are all 100% unique, hand written etc?

    5) Is it pretty much a "must have" to sneak an anchored link within the article body, or is just in the author bio ok? Again, is this frowned upon by the moderators?

Thanks guys, I appreciate any input.

I prefer to have a decent account on all of the article sites, I find one account which has a load of articles seems to get noticed alot more in the search engines. Manual is hard work though and I have now made the decison to use AMR(spin)

3/4 a day you will be fine, just mix up your links with other stuff

    3) Am I more concerned with the direct traffic from the article, or the backlink from my article submission? Or are both to be considered equally?

Hmmm I find you dont get much traffic from the articles these days, definatly not since the panda update anyway! However if you automate this then you could see a lot of traffic

Stick to just promoting in the author resourch box and you will be fine, most will warn you first!

Again, I focus on the author box and sod the rest :)

    1) Agree with wannabie. In fact, it's very normal for an author account to have dozens or even hundreds of articles. It's completely different from spamming twitter for example. In that situation you know accounts get killed fast so you need loads of them.

    2) Nope! Not at all. As long as that you are submitting useful content and not pretty much the same content but rephrased to target more keywords.

    3) Your top priority is the backlink especially after the update as wannabie said. However, it's not hard to adapt the submitted article to eyeballs and having a call to action in the bio box. Gets you bonus traffic and will not usually interfere with your backlinking priority.

    4) Na, pretty much different than forums. You just get an article rejection and often an editor's comment. As long as you do what they ask you, you're good. If you just keep getting repeat rejections for the same mistakes then they can get pissed and suspend you.

    Sorry missed one.

    5) This will depend on the policies of each directory. Make sure you skim through them. SEO wise though, it's certainly a plus to include the anchored link in the body especially in the 'heart' of the article not just the end.

P.S: man manual is a pain in the ass. Get it outsourced or buy AMR :D

Well, I understand manual may be pretty difficult to keep up, but I can write a unique article 400-500 words in maybe 5-10 minutes, and I think because it will be 100% unique, I will have a better chance of ranking it and more people will link to it naturally.

My reasons for this post is because last year I made an article promoting a major sporting event, and I just checked Google randomly and that article is still ranking on the first page for that sporting event and I made NO backlinks to the article. It has a few thousand views to it, and it took me about 7 minutes to write.

Now I believe with my unique content, manually writing titles to hit on long tail searches, and some backlinks blasted, I am going to be able to easily rank these as top 5 searches, and at the same time get a quality backlink.
