I need help selling 500 NBA All Star Game *After Party* Tickets. The tickets need to be sold online through a pre-existing ecommerce link by next week Friday, Feb. 18th.

This particular after party will be in high demand as Diddy is the confirmed celebrity guest on the first evening. His appearance comes in high anticipation of his first album release in almost 5 years.

The second evening's high profile celebrity guest will be Young Jeezy and he will be doing a live performance.

Tickets range in price from $100 for general admission, $150 for VIP for one evening, $500 for VIP for both evenings plus a lot of extra perks like a gift bag of luxury goodies, etc..., and up to $10,000 for a 20 person VIP exclusive table with bottle service and many other perks. There are various other lower-tiered group pricing options available as well. The group tables will be limited to only a couple of dozen or so attendees.

The profit margin is 15% of ticket sale price. 3/4's of the profit is already locked away at 11.25% of the ticket sale price. We are offering 3.75% of the ticket sale price to whomever can step up and help sell these tickets *within the next 7 days*. If you run the calculations, this can put a nice sum of money in your pockets in a very short period of time. :D

Fraudulent methods like stolen cc numbers will not be accepted, however blackhat methods of gaining traffic through seo, social networking, software tools, etc.... will be considered, as well as whitehat/greyhat methods.

There was an internet marketer who helped sell 700 tickets online within a week to the Las Vegas All Star Game after party a couple of years ago, but we've lost touch with him, so I know this can be done. Also, don't worry about the late notice as most people don't start buying tickets to these after parties until a week before the event since they wait until after they have confirmed their travel and room arrangements up until the last minute, about one week before the event.

I do not have time or resources to promote this myself so that is why I am asking for your help.

Please pm me if you are interested in this opportunity and provide me with a description of what you would be able to do. I can provide you more specific details via pm.

    Thanks

How is 11.25% of the 15% commission already "locked away"? Is that another way of saying, "That's my cut, sorry"? lol

If you really do the numbers for this deal, it's not really a deal at all. You couldn't use any sense of paid traffic on this deal due to being strangled by low profit options.

    $100 ticket = $3.75 commission
    $150 ticket = $5.62 commission
    $500 ticket = $18.75 commission

Wow, thats great... for someone who wants to get robbed. That internet marketer who "supposedly" sold 700 tickets for you potentially made a whopping $2,625 in profit before he had to deduct his costs.

    How are payments collected?
    How are commissions tracked?
Do we have access to sales data?

If we have to collect the payments, we're dealing with payment fees which would take the entire potential profit we're making.

If we don't take payments, how do we know we'll get acknowledged for our leads?
What is the checkout system? It is under a brand name or some rinky-dink site accepting PayPal?
How sophisticated is the cookie system?
How do we know the tickers are even legitimate?
How sophisticated is the tracking system?

I mean seriously, did you not think this through?

If the jv partner helps sell 500 of the $500 tickets, then his profit would be $9,000. That's not including their hundred dollar NET commission profits on the VIP tables. The tickets are being sold on wantickets dot com, an extremely reputable site with great tracking.

Now to address your asinine comments and uniformed over-reaction:
Stay out of my thread if you aren't interested and check, re-check, and triple check your math before making yourself look like an idiot. And don't question whether I thought this through or not when you obviously didn't understand the potential returns on this venture. I have a lot more to say in response but I won't risk being banned.

Anyone who's interested or has questions, please pm me. We can communicate via email, chat, or phone and I can show you the event url.

By the way, most people won't start buying their tickets until Tuesday after they beginning arriving in town for this weekend's event, so that may give you more time to implement your methods.

Contact groupon.com they are specialized in these sort of things, and your tickets for the party are their specialty.

    Sending pm.

Thank you for the great suggestion. I didn't consider local event marketing sites like Groupon and LivingSocial. I'll see if they can help.

    Thanks again! :D

I'm still open to other suggestions as well.

For Saturday night our team was responsible for about 440 guests at the venue and for about 330 on Sunday night (full capacity was 2000 guests the venue was filled to capacity both nights). All in all it was a success, although we could have sold more if given more lead time. :)

Thanks for all the suggestions, especially the Groupon one which we may use for future events (they need at least 2-3 weeks lead time and ideally 4-5 weeks advance notice for any events they help to publicize).
