Hello,

A few days back I watched Anik Singal's 3 hours presentation live on youtube. It was quite inspiring. I've tried IM for years without many success. Between 2011-2015, i've only made $200 with adsense and $45 with CB. Being a father of two baby daughters, and jobless at the moment ( post Rhythm & Hues downfall, I've been jumping from company to company because the companies always did not pay my salary on time ), I survived each month with some freelance job and my wife's salary. It is not the life that I prefer. :( So I want to take this jobless moment to focus back on IM. I hope you kind hearted IM guys and gals can give me advice along the way.

Okay back to Anik, he introduced 2 phase plan for generating income over the Internet. He claims that this is the exact formula that he taught his students. It was called Circle of Profit. If I have the money, I'll immediately invest into one of his courses as he already prepares the tools to begin the IM journey. But his courses were quite expensive, more than $2000. That's a lot for a newbie like me. I have to find the tools myself.

I know this formula was very popular and has been used by many IMs.

Phase 1 is where you have to promote other person's product by becoming an affiliate. After you have a solid base in Phase 1, you should go into Phase 2 which is producing your own product.

This is his plan for Phase 1. It's quite simple actually.

1. Find a CB product.
2. Make a landing page.
2. Get autoresponder.
4. Get targeted traffic

He said in order to success in Phase 1, you have to get 300 visitors/subscribers daily. He said it was easy but I doubt it... at least from what I read in the forums.

Find a CB Product
I follow a guide on this forum on how to pick a good CB product.
He suggest that I should contact the product owner and ask for a review copy. From this I know which product is good and should be promoted.

I look for a gravity between 20-50, low refund rate and good amount of commission.
From the marketplace I click the category one by one and look for a product which meets my requirement. I know there is a search function but I prefer this way.

It took me a couple of days to get respond from the product owner and the product it self seems very good and high quality.

Make a landing page
Around two days of research on finding a good way to make a landing page. It must be good design, easy to setup, can integrate nicely with autoresponder and meet my budget.

Initially I want to make a wordpress site with optin plugin. The criteria for the themes and optin plugin: it must be responsive. Which means it will also looks good on mobile platform. I found some free themes which I can easily convert it into a landing page. Then I also found an awesome wordpress plugin for optin, Optin Ninja. Its $28 over codecanyon.

Autoresponder
There are three autoresponders which I have in mind. Aweber, Mailchimp and Getresponse. I made my research on each autoresponder. Each has its pro and cons. At first I want to go with Getresponse as it also includes page builder to build a good looking landing page! Though, on further reading on their T&C, they limit the visitors to that page up to 1000 visitors per month. If I exceed the limit, I have to pay extra. Bummers.

Targeted Traffic

This is the hardest part. I've tried many traffic services here on BHW. Although I bought targeted traffic as advertised, it does not convert. This was based on my previous experience on my adsense website. I've heard solo ads but I heard many of them did not deliver. I think I have to go with Adwords but I don't have any experience with that and it can be quite expensive too. Before I dive into Adwords, I plan to make some keyword research on my niche using Market Samurai. I would love to hear your experience with Adwords if you can share. Which one do you suggest, Adwords or solo ads?

So, I would like to start this plan if you guys think it is ok. I will keep update so that others can learn something, at least.

Though I am not familiar with this particular guru , I've studies many of others in the past, invested in their courses, attended seminars, etc. Two points:

1) I found their teaching itself is generally useless. I ended up making more money without using their advises; and
2) the main takeout comes from watching their marketing, without buying into it. These guys are usually pretty good experts and I found more value in studying how they structure their business and make people buy, than from the actual products they sell.

Good luck with your plan! I don't have enough experience in IM to be able to point out any flaws. I'm guessing the targeted traffic will be the hardest part by far. sadly, I don't have any good ideas to help you with that.

I would suggest trying to diversify the income sources, not just from your project you posted here, but with life in general. I've heard of a lot of great ideas here, such as offline marketing (building websites for local businesses), or other ideas.

Personally, I like to divide up my time like this:
75% of my time goes to pursuing new ideas and ways of making money. I shoot for the stars here.
25% of my time goes to methods that have consistently worked for me in the past. In my case, I can make about 10-15 dollars an hour doing content writing. This isn't as much as I would like, but at least I know that I can make a consistent income online. The content writing fuels the expenses of my other projects and it gives me experience as a writer for my own projects. Most importantly though, it teaches me that I can make consistent money on the internet.

Anyways, I'm not sure that helped but I wish you the best of luck with your project! If you don't post updates here then I'd love to read updates from you in another way.

Thank you for your kind word. I've begin to take action today. I've purchased a domain, .com with godaddy for $0.99 and setup a wordpress site. I've also found some PLR for my autoresponder email in my niche. Tomorrow I'm going to buy Optin Ninja and construct a squeeze page.

I found a great thread here with similar plan. It was very long, full of good info. This is somehow has given me shortcuts on what to do and not to do. Oh, I just knew that adword will reject squeeze page. :|

By the way, when you mentioned diversify the income sources, it made me remember that I once had a great success with Fiverr. How can I forget that.... I think I will use Fiverr again and use that profit to fund this plan.

You said you end up making more money without using their advice? Did you mean in IM or offline job?

300 Visitors and 300 subscribers are two very different things. 300 visitors is probably possible if you buy the traffic from Adwords. The question I don't know is will he be able to increase the size of the list enough so that he can sell products to the subscribers and break even or will people drop off, unsubscribe so that he will never be able to get the list big enough?
