help ME please

it is along story but the main thing is tat i just took a private proxy list from my friends computer...
he pays for the proxy list per month...
he does not know that i have the list as well as username and password...
now i can do CL with it..
but the problem is that...i just want to confirm that...
is there any chance that he will get to know that i am using his proxies...can he track people who are using his proxies...
i mean is there any tracking system in private proxies..
like if i use somebody's proxy list...without his permission ...
then can u tell me that can he track me.down ?
can he figure out that somebody is using his proxies..
or he can't detect who is using his proxies..i mean will he not even have a clue whether somebody is using his proxies or not...
please tell me...will he get to know that i am using his proxies..or he will not even have a clue...

While I don't condone stealing from your friends...

It depends on where he gets the proxies from. You said that they have passwords on them which suggests that they are private proxies rather than scraped from the webs. In the case of private proxies, I would think that the owners of the proxy service would have some control over the machines hosting the proxies and therefor could offer some kind of stats on the usage of said IP's.

I'm no expert on proxies (yet) but that's my .02

do some ewhoring and write some articles for Associated Content and then buy your own proxies

but depending on the company - he may have access to stats - but I doubt he will check them

You sure you talk about a friend and not about some random sucker you know ?

a) it is possible but unlikely that your friend can see who is using his proxies.
b) by using his proxies on on CL you will get his and your PVA's banned if he is posting on CL too

Proxies are really not that expensive, see the fact that in worst case you could be charged for multiple criminal offenses.
I doubt he's a good friend, so if he finds our and goes to police you might really be fucked.

hmmm actually he is my cousin... ...so there will be no police at all...
but from ur Answers i get a feeling that he can track me...
if yes then really these proxies are useless..

Who ever he get's the proxies from can track you yes. Just use a proxy to cover your tracks maybe......lol.
