    Hi,

Please help me, I have an amazon associates account and API just yesterday I created an autoblog and made about 500 posts on it for amazon products. I made about 100 directory submissions and I tweeted about the blog to about 60,000 K people!

Today I open my associates account to see 1993 clicks and 0 conversions.

    Product Link Clicks: 2
    Other Clicks: 1991
    Clicks: 1993
    TOTAL CONVERSION 0.00%

    What is this all about?!

I'm pretty sure if this keeps going I'll be banned soon.

amazon associates stats include spider / bot hits to the link

    what you're seeing isn't unreasonable

I don't think so, you'll not get a kick from amazon just for high click rate and zero conversion.
Your problem is maybe with your traffic quality. Since it's autoblog, I think your visitors arn't too much targeted (for the niche and the country source).
Also visitors from social networks like twitter and fb don't convert well. They are here to chat and have fun not to purchase.

    they're a bit high but I wouldn't be concerned

500 pages for amazon products and 1993 clicks means that you only have about 4 clicks per page going through to links - google and bing spider your whole site once, and that's 1000 potential clicks through right there, if there's 2 links to the product per page, then that could be most of the activity right there.

keep in mind that your site also gets hit by tons of other general bots around on the web, and coming through directory links can mean more activity.

I've seen amazon ban people for putting their product ads in "non-family-friendly" places, and I've seen them ban people for having their products on a paid for landing page, however have not personally heard of anyone getting banned for "invalid click activity" - they pay per sale so it's not like adsense where they have to lock the network down tight.

I am sorry to say this but : In Autoblogs + amazon combination u should ignore the other clicks, they are just the plugin working on your site, the real clicks are the product clicks ... , so money is on product clicks....

The plugin is using amazon api and this causes "other clicks"...
