Help me monetize a forum with 1000++ members...

Okay guys, I'm out of idea and feeling discourage after so many failure...

Help me if you think I deserve it, laugh at me if you think I'm silly...

I have this forum built on smf...

The niche is about friendster layout, friendster comments graphic, and etc regarding friendster...

It have more than 1000 members by now and I notice that the average user register is 20 per day which mean it still growing...

I have more 100K page views per month according to the smf stats, but the unique visits is sure less than that... I just install google analytics on it and it show that I have more than 10K unique visit per month which is pretty lame...

My traffice mostly come from referring site of same niche...
Without me linking back to them!
Coz they are noobie webmaster that don't know the link juice power...

My visitors/members are coming from

Philippines mostly.
And second is indonesia,
United states,
Malaysia,
And Japan.

And mostly the member are teenager that don't know anything about make money online and I don't want them to know too...
Coz the niche is not mmo...
And most of them are filipino, hahaha, I get to learn tagalog from them, even I'm not filipino... WOnder of internet...

Now, what makes me upset...
The site doesn't pay itself, even to pay for the server fee...

I've put some adsense...
And guess what...
My ctr is around 0.5% ~ 0.8%, never even reach one...
And the income per day is around $0.20 ~ $0.50,
I rotate the ads with my partner using open-X and her(yes she is woman ) income is almost the same, note that she is noobie in this mmo too, she even let me login and see her stat...
Which mean the total income for the site is $0.50 ~ $1 per day...

Have try to look at other advetising like tribalfusion, the requirement is damn high...

Now my idea is to find a program which have pop under which pay on cpm, but I never yet found one...
But then again, is it a good idea?
I see many forum outside mmo do this...

If you're getting that many page views, then you can probably profit off of AdSense.

I'm sure there's a Friendster bot or hell, you could probably even market Myspace Bots/Products on there because I'm pretty sure the majority of them have those too.

Adsense don't really work or that's what it suppose to be?
Thousands page views but some clicks?
This make my ctr less tan 3% and I heard rumors said when our ctr less than 3% we will be smart priced, which it look like now... Sometimes it only $0.01 for 3 clicks... WTF!

Well, they are teenager that does not even have a credit cards.
I know some of our member here are same age, but they are far less advance...

Selling ad space is my worst expertise...
I do not know where to find... and to approach...

I would recommend against Pop Unders because I personally hate them and I am sure many of your members will.

A small click through rate? Perhaps the location of your ads are in a terrible spot. Try changing the location for a month and see how that works out.

Also since your niche is for friendster, use that bot to get tons of friends and promote your site further.

I've analyzing my website using google analytics site overlay.
I bet you knew it.
The site overlay can show you the percentage of clicks, hot area in your website.
And I place my adsense to the nearest to this hot and high percentage of clicks...
Still the ctr is low...
Have been experimenting with area and track it using channel, guess what, all the clicks is ONLY FROM LINK UNIT that I placed right under the main navigation. <== Seems that clicks is unintentionally which make me feel quite upset too, but sometimes I feel good that I've fooled them around...

Also since your niche is for friendster, use that bot to get tons of friends and promote your site further.

I have inactive bidvertiser account.
Even adsense is not doing well, I don't think bidvertiser can or they have new type of ads?
