Ok, maybe not life changing but hopefully.

I'm a young guy and I don't feel like going to college, at all. I'd really like to make my living online but I just can't seem to find something to suit me. I make a little with my private server but since Nexon seems to be suing a lot of the bigger servers, I don't think I could go on much longer with it.

I feel like I've got this huge weight on me because I want to be able to live a comfortable life but I can't seem to make up my mind on what I want to do. I've got different options going through my head but I don't really like them. Making a living online is the only one that I really want to do but I have no clue where to start. This is starting to sound like a rant so, if you don't mind, help me in the right direction. I see that there's 2 things I could go with to help me in the right direction, Cookie Stuffing and Pay-Per-Install. Which would be the best to get into? Which is costs less to get working? Which has bigger payouts? And which is easier to set up?

lol good luck.. only way your going to make any money online is if you try the stuff out.. some methods work for some people and some methods work for yours.. you will never find out what works for you and which doesn't work for you sitting behind a computer reading ebooks. The only thing I can recommend is try some pay per install, try some cookie stuffing and see what works better for you and run with it. It isn't hard making $$ online with all the resources here at www.blackhatworld.com Quit being a n00b and take action.. you will thank yourself later

I was expecting that answer but not so early. I don't waste my time reading many ebooks because so many are useless. From what you've experienced could you answer my questions?

    Hey,

I'm new here, so I'm definitely not trying to ruffle any feathers. But let me just get this straight:

You want to make a "comfortable" living. And you need to know between the two methods you're considering, which one is the cheapest, most profitable and easiest... There are thousands of quality methods and resources in front of you for making very considerable sums of money online. Each and every one of them takes varying degrees of hard work, thought, and/or investment to implement.

Bottom line far as I can see, go to college. That's the one place where you can get all the positive reinforcement you can handle when you ask inane questions like these. And all you have to do in return is the occasional research paper and a little tuition.

You wanna make easy money? I don't know, sell ecstasy to high school kids. You wanna make money online, knuckle down and do something today. And do a little more tomorrow.

If you've recently suffered some sort of major head trauma, then I apologize, my post was far too harsh. Otherwise stay in school. Major in philosophy. You'll be the king of the kids not ready for the real world...

(In a crappy Jon Hughes coming of age movie, this would be the slow clap moment as I drop the microphone. Unfortunately this is the internet, and they haven't developed that emoticon yet. )

    By the way everyone,

Hi my name is Hugo, and I'm an internet marketer

I never said I wanted to make a living with the 2 mentioned methods. I just wanted some questions answered to help me get started on the right path.

I've made my living online instead of going to college. The one thing I miss is there seems to be a major lack of drunk college chicks hanging out around my computer.

Although I hate these threads asking for directions I just woke up and feel pretty good.

So here you go: Best thing to do for you in your position is definately trying to get your hand on the PPI thingy (******************* is best resource - jnr vip area). If you focus you can make 30$ a day within your first week and with a little creativity and hard work you can hit $100 a day pretty fast (easy within your first month).

Only thing you really need is a good internet connection (then get a vps right away and some proxies. Pretty small investment overall).

Once you outsource parts of it and it becomes a routine for you, you can focus on diversifying your income streams.

how many hours do you need to devote to this per week to keep it going? (assuming you want to pull in $100 a day)

Another college dropout here. College wasn't exactly for me.

Coming to the noob that started the thread

    - cookie stuffing implies you already have a website has some traffic (unless you plan on stuffing forums or other places) which i assume you don't and is pretty dangerous- you can get banned pretty fast from what i have seen. I would not recommend it for someone who wants to make a living online and base your daily food on it- it s more for the guys looking for the quick cash.

-pay per install might be a good way, but the payout is usually low, and you need to have a good internet connection for the torrents-the most common way of spreading your files- or other files sharing services.

Question is, do you know to do anything on the web? Cause just wanting to make a living comfortable, is not enough. You need to have some skills, or at least have some ideas, or at least try something.

You know SEO, ppc, aff marketing, video marketing, content creation, torrents or other such stuff?

If you want to make a living online without relying on a college degree as a backup, you need to be quite smart.

Do not be fooled by a lot of people-noobs with low number of posts- that say here they make thousands $ per day, bla bla bla, most of them are bullshiting.

Even on this forum, there are not many members who live full time based on the income from online ventures.

What i try to say is do not be fooled into quiting your college degree just because you THINK or you WANT to make a living online. First try something and see whether you can make money or not.

Most of the people making a full time income are capable of creating their own methods. If you think you can just read methods posted on forums, and that makes you an internet guru, think again. Everyone can read methods posted on forums.

i quit my college studies when i had enough money into my bank for at least 6 months of living comfortably, and i had systems put in place that bring me cash. I would have not dropped out of universities just cause i liked the idea or i hoped that i will be able to make money online. I was already making money online.

    Good luck.

We are no longer in a time where we need to buy our information at Universities, we can learn anything we want to online. One of the biggest things you will get out of college is a lot of debt that will put you behind in truly following your dreams. I have seen so many people go to college and graduate only to have to go directly into a 9 to 5 job just so they can star paying off their debt. I think college offers a great social experience and some fun times, but outside of that, fuck college.

The best thing you can do to start making money online is to take action. Its good to spend time reading forums and tutorials/guides, but you're going to have to get out there and start experimenting. Failure is a good thing and it should be expected. Be patient and determined and dont expect anything to be handed to you.

To get to that level fast I would devote 5-6h a day for 10 days, start outsourcing and then (depends on how much you outsource) 2h or less a day.

It depends on you. Not us.

You are the only person who can make this decision and it depends on a number of things.

    Dedication. Motivation. Knowledge.

You have to decide whether you got what it take to make it online. Its not that difficult at all but some people just cant do it.

I make a full time income from the Internet and I live very very comfortably and I am still very young.

Think about it. Long and hard.

ITA. But if you are not going to go to college, you need to have the will to look up everything you want to know and actually study a lot of things anyway. You MIGHT have to pay for some information or someone to follow if you want to speed up the process - but this is all based on how focused you are.

Ultimately, how ever you run it (black or white) it is still a BUSINESS and needs to be considered and run as such.

You need to make a business plan - and this can take a few days by itself. As someone mentioned, this should only be one of many income streams as if one runs dry you will have a back up.

So while it is good to focus on one as far as taking action, you should take some time to look around to see where else you can expand the business down the road.

I liked reading this. Non-IM related.

It's a speech Guy Kawasaki made to pre-college students.

You shouldn't quit college because of the IM dream, as others said try every method before making any "life changing" decisions.

Btw who the fuck is MadHatBrat and why the hell does he click on the "Thanks" button on every post?

Best thing you can do is go to college and do IM on the side as a complimentary form of income. If it gets big enough, well good, but don't quit college. What happens if your IM goes down the drain one day? You won't have a degree and you'll suffer. Just in case that happens, get a degree.

It doesn't have to be an expensive career, but just do SOMETHING. Besides, you'll be bored shitloads if you just stay in your house in front of a computer all day. Dedicate 2-3 hours a day to IM and keep living your life. Don't get caught in rivery dreams when you haven't even started anything.

Yeah, I'd advice to go to college, and have something that could help just in case that your business don't work. Besides, you can learn a lot of things in college that you won't learn online, money is not everything in the life, the best thing you can do is enjoy your life which is very short, do whatever you like to do, and do it well. :D
