    Hi everyone,
I am little confuse about 301 redirect. I have 2 site on same niche. First is over 7-8 months old and having 500+ related backlinks and second site is new less than 6 months old and holding page 1 ranking.

My first site is deindex by google due to unknown reason but i think it is mainly because of backlinks. (3-4 times I submit the reconsideration request by changing the site structure but google webmaster tool always show violates google guideline)
Second site is on page 1 for that keyword

    So my question is:
Is it good to 301 redirect all links and age from first domain to second domain. Will it help in increasing rank or my second site also get index.

It's not good to 301 a de-indexed domain to a well ranking domain. Work your way through second domain to rank on top.

Whatever you do - don't 301 the banned domain to the one that's ranking. There's a very high chance you will torch it.

Everyone seems to debate constantly on whether or not a 301 will pass a penalty, but there's no sense risking your other site which is sitting at #1 to find out.

Yep - Don't risk it. You can keep trying to get your first site back in the index. The new disavowing tool might be able to help you out with that. But 301 redirecting a site that Google doesn't like to a site that Google does like is just going to bring heat on your good site.
