I will be using the Learnpress wp plugin for that but I want solution for hosting the videos. Where should I host them and how does it will work once the user buys my course.

Also, I have ordered studio light kits for better quality. Is it good?

P.S: I will be preparing a free video course first, following by paid video courses on my site.

try using s3 for your video hosting..
for free alternative, you can use youtube or google drive but use API instead embed real link..
for website try using s2member, you can create free member or paid member..

I am thinking of using zippycourses. It's only $199 right now. Will it be good?

Udemy might be a good option for hosting videos and managing customers. But they have a lot of restrictions on what you can and cannot do.

They can deliver a lot of traffic to your courses, but you will not be able to build an email list.

Use Google Drive OR Amazon Drive to host your videos for free. and for Membership, you can use WP MemberShip Plugin for free. OR you can use Buddypress for Membership.

Udemy has full power over the courses and they get 50% of what the course price. I want to setup my own brand.

If you have money for simple solution for one or two title, i think is ok use that plugin..
but if you want more customizable, better you use $199 to hire developer..
take a look kelbyone dot com.. base on WP.. combine with woo..

if i want build website like udemy base on WP, i will use s2member to manage membership...
for video hosting, i use youtube grab API to get direct link video and combine with videojs
and host my website on DO for $5 a month..and use letsencrypt if i want ssl for my website..
    free s2 member + free video host + $5 hosting + letsencrypt ssl = $5/month

your method seems very useful but I am not able to understand it completely. So I think I would have to hire a developer instead. But I think I am going to use Learnpress for my first freecourse anyways or I may change it if I can get my issue solved.

Mate - what did you end up using? I'm looking for a similar solution for self hosting - don't want to go for a marketplace.
