My Gf is asking me to help her in an off line business , so i got my hat on , and her love of kids , babies she is looking at setting up a nursery , with out taking into consideration the laws , safety and costs , so im trying to get her to think small.

    Here is my idea........

FREE Baby contest / Kids contest. ............. with the view to up selling once the photos are taken.

i suggested hiring a photographer with his own equipment ( preferably a good but cheap one , maybe from a uni. or something , not really thought much on this as yet ) for 2 days , setting up in a public area , mall what ever , giving FREE photo shoots for cute baby , funny baby , best girl , best boy etc etc etc. then email the photo set to the parent and offering up sell products ( photos for sale , in / out of frames ) ...

i have questions i need help to sort out pls.

    1. how can we ensure , once we email the photo set , that the parent cant use the photos or enlarge them without our concent , yes watermarking them , but it spoils the photo , as we need them to look good to entice sales. so how can we over come this ?

    2. We could set up a laptop and let the parent look at the phtots on site, but this means employing a 3rd person , as my gf will be the baby entertainer , then the photographer , so i think this cant be done on site , or am i wrong , how do we do this if we dont email the photos or show on site ( in the mall or public area )

    3. what do you suggest would make this business work ?

    4. where do you see it failing , if you think it will fail ?

    5. have i missed anything ?

    Any advice is welcome thx.

well for the photo part you can convert them to a small enough resolution that would make it really ugly if they try to blow up the picture to print themselves. (I think its a good business idea)
