    Guys/Gals HELP!

My laptop is slightly infected.. My firefox browser redirects to offers and other shit. I cannot open any antivirus programs or MALWARE Antbytes to clean my cpu. I could run spyware terminater but that didnt do much.

It doesnt redirect my IE explorer only FIrefox. I cant seem to clean this out. I even tried cleaning in safe mode with spyware terminator and my browser still redirects. Any advice?

try this...redownload malware bytes but dont run it...rename it the file anything like mbbm but keep the .exe then run it...it should download and run now...if it doesnt update...run it anyway...once it finds the rootkits or whatever clean them and then update and run again

Before you run any scans delete all temporary internet files, it'll save you a lot of time. CCleaner can do a good cleanup. Also kill system restore in Windows and let it delete all of your old restore points. Persistent infections often hide in temp dirs and restore dirs so they can keep popping up like herpes..

It took me a while to get back to the source: I saved it locally. BTW sometimes a bad infection won't let you go to trendmicro housecall. Booting into safe mode
