[HELP] Keyword research

    Hi, can someone explain to me what kind of SEO competition i'm looking at?
    What factor should i consider in SEO competition when choosing a good keyword?

    my geuss is that result one is wikipedia....you can see the IC (number of pages) is huge. BLD indicates the number of backlinks to the domain. BLEG indicates the number of BLs from education websites.
    Looking at that table I would suggest it is not a difficult niche.
    None of the sites in there have the keyword in their title, url, description tags...so that should be your priority.
    Most of the sites also only have a few hundred backlinks....so very easy to beat.

    Sorry...one more....the one thing you are up agains is domain age....not much you can do about that one!

    See the DMZ and YAH listed sites? That means they are authority sites. Chances are they are not trying to rank after the keyword you are ranking for :) A few edu backlinks would help, and articles linking back to the money site would be very helpful. I'd say low competition also.
