I need to get some sites rank in first page for only a few months - thats it. just need a 3-6 months (longer the better though) of ranking, and after that, the site will be chucked aside and i'll move on to other site, do it all over again, temporary first page domination, then chucked aside.

Is there a software that can help with this?

SEC maybe? or whats the other one thats offered by Peter Bray? What's it called - dont rem...

will be interesting to hear what the many experts here in the forum has to recommend! :D

thanks! BHW rawks my sawks! :D

it actually is not that hard if you have a game plan.

    1. choose the right keywords(buyer type keywords)
    2. build sites on web 2.0 properties targeting your keywords
    3. then use social bookmarking, video, and other web 2.0 media to generate backlinks.

don't forget to submit your RSS feeds and PING!

if you do this, you'll see some great results in a very short time.

depending on your keywords, you may have to target more sites for one promotion than another, but you don't need to target every single one.

that would take way too much time and is unnecessary. you'd be better going after keywords with lower competition that you can easily rank for and target a bunch of them. that way you are "casting a wider net" so to speak and you chances for profiting are much better than if you spend all your time trying to go after high-competition keywords.

I'd say get some sites up first if you haven't already, keyword research is a must.

    Code:
    digg.com
is a site you can use to show the world an article you found interesting. Digg users will either "digg it" or "bury it". Either way, Google will see it and spider the page you are linking on Digg. Plus it's a backlink to your site if not a bunch due to rss feeds and what-not.

Bookmarking is like your browser bookmarks but on a Web site. You can make your bookmarks public thereby allowing search engines to spider the page you are bookmarking.

Basically the great thing about social networking manipulation is that you don't have to involve yourself with "link begging" and other such boorish schemes from Web 1.0. It allows you to focus on producing great content written by a Markov generator. ;)

Web 2.0 is all about manipulation. :p
