Hey guys, Please help if you can. We're changing from GoDaddy hosting to a typical C-Panel. But the GoDaddy hosting has about 100 employee e-mails hosted there. What will happen when I change the DNS to the new host? "OR" What will happen if I just 301 the domain w/masking and don't change the DNS? Don't know what to do . . . Thanks Guys!!

If you change the dns pointing it to a new host you will loose your email address unless you update the cname on your new host pointing it back to godaddy

a 301 wont affect your email address but you will have to set up a new domain name on your new host to 301 to

You can modify just "A" record in your DNS zones to point to IP address of your new web host server. Or you can switch whole DNS and in the new one modify "MX" record to point to old godaddy values. You can give me your domain name and i will let you know what are your current MX settings. (you can check also yourself using dig for example)
