My site is fairly new (a week old) and I have about 30k backlinks and 1 .gov and about 40 .edu backlinks.

But when I check with analyzers it says I only have one? I pinged them and everything....

Google crawled my website picked up my meta data yesterday, then I rechecked today and it has the old meta data.

    What is going on?

Is it that whole "noindex" thing?

I got a boatload of links from 247b...l....., and the report shows me valid links ( i checked on the sites) and I'm not getting link juice either.

Maybe this is Google saying "these sites are all junk and we can't be bothered"

A week old does qualify as "fairly new", and that is a ton of backlinks for a new site a week old. You said you "pinged them and everything", on a new site I have had to actually put the links on a page on a site that is regularly crawled, to get google to index the link. Still, in just 7 days, patience may be what is called for.

Patience, n. -- A minor form of despair, disguised as a virtue.

I understand that it's quality not quantity...But the only one that google indexed was a page in spanish that was UNDER CONSTRUCTION! AKA-- The most un-useful page ever!

    your site is new
first make sure your robots.txt is correct
second make sure ot set up a good analytics account
third make sure to put in unique contents
fourth make sure the backlinks you see are follow links and not do-follow links

once done submit your site for a review by the G guys and wait

    Hope this helps

Huh, are you sure those weren't no-follow links. Also check your robots.txt file.

You're gonna have to do much more than just pinging these days to get a link lindexed. I'd still expect a lot more than just 1 to be indexed though 7 days later.

No follow links still get indexed the same as do-follow links.

IMHO, we should understand that, the processes we are used to are not working as effective as they were in the past.

Since your webiste is too new to get all backlinks indexed. I recommend you submit your website to social bookmarking. It may help you to get your all backlinks indexed.
