    You're not stuck.

Create the webhosting and transfer the files and database. Edit your host file on your computer

    C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\etc\hosts (windows xp)

add two entries at the bottom

    yourhostingipaddress domainname.com
    yourhostingipaddress www.domainname.com

Now your domain name will come up on your browser from your webhosting and you can get to work. Ask the seller or whoever is transferring the domain name to set the nameservers to your nameservers once you have the website transferred and working correctly. You don't need the domain transferred to set up the website on your hosting.

You're wasting time - get the site and database transferred!

Such a tough spot to be in.....
Maybe posts like this are the reason you are at -5 rep?
Its fine to make a post asking if there is anything you can do, but to make it sound like your about to be heading upstate to serve 8 years, and then to read this? Come on man...

You can go outside and cut the grass and go down to the homeless shelter and see what a real predicament looks like...

If you want to hear a couple of real life predicaments, just ask me what I am going through, and there are some others here too that have REAL problems. Don't waste space with this bs.

For a moment there, I was worried. What do you wish us to do for you. build your website on our servers?
