HELP - How to lower Amazon Associate tax withholding for Canada from 25% to 0%? (URGENT)

I have some money that I should be able to receive if I lower my Amazon associates for Canada withholding rate from 25% to 0%. I am non-Canada resident.

I was able to do this for other countries by providing a TIN code. However, I still have a 25% tax withholding showing in my tax interview.


Does anybody know how to do this? Is it maybe a SIN 9-digit number? I think I don't have that, but I read somewhere that 9 ZEROS works. Any suggestions, please? It's really important for me.

I don't think you can lower that for Amazon CA. I was able to get 0 withholding rate for US by providing TIN but for CA, I'm still having 25% withholding rate too.

But they sent me message suggesting I lower it.. Were you able to lower it further for australia, CO.UK etc as well? Or only USA?

So I retook the tax interview and selected "Yes" for this option and the withholding rate is now 0%. So maybe you should also try selecting that option and see if it will be reduced.
