Screen Shot 2015-06-30 at 7.12.59 PM.png Hey BHW, I need some help with a Facebook issue I am trying to work out. The account actually belongs to a rapper I am working with. He has over 100,000 followers on Facebook, he is well known, and viral. He received a message in the support dashboard reading

"You're restricted from receiving subscribers through the subscribe social plugin indefinitely."

People are unable to follow him using the follow button. If they click add friend, they can still follow him.

The problem is, he depends on his Facebook account for 98% of his music promotion. It is his main source of income.

He has new music dropping soon, and this could completely hinder his promotion. Again, I am talking about a personal profile here, not a like page or a fan page.

We have tried to appeal it the block, but haven't heard anything back. If Facebook somehow decides to change their code to make it so that the add friend button will not let you follow someone anymore once they are maxed... Its game over.

If there is ANYONE out here that can help, please reply or PM me.

He is also willing to pay to have this issue taken care of. 100% serious.

Im posting this for him, because I have been a member of this great forum for a very long time, I haven't contributed much because I stepped away from IM. Heck, I had to reset my password for BHW to even get in here cause I didn't remember it lol This is the first place I could think of to look for help. I am his drummer/producer. I have a lot of interest in getting this resolved as well. I'm gaining a nice following myself as well, but nowhere near his numbers.. So its not like I can actually help get all the content out there and make a huge difference.

A little bit of background information: He posts a lot of rant videos, and mylikes links as well. So we dont really know what caused the ban. Anyway, thanks for your time.

Perhaps if you put money in Facebook with credit card they will change their mind.

You become a client, and not a simple user.

Start with a backup profile or something. Sucks man I'm sorry, I've seen FB whoring profiles face the same prob, possibly because FB algo thinks there's some unnatural surge of traffic? idk, hope you resolve soon...
