    I'm going to start promoting Clickbank products and I don't like how the URL shows your affiliate ID at the end of the URL. I have a website where I will be driving traffic from and I want to make a sub-directory on my domain and have it redirect to my Clickbank affiliate link, but KEEP the URL of the sub-directory.

    For example, the actual affiliate URL is something like: hxxp://www.ClickbankProduct.com/?hop=affiliateID

    I want the URL to be something like this: hxxp://www.MyDomain.com/ClickbankProduct

    Does anyone know how to do this? The site is built on Wordpress. Thanks!

    Does anyone have any ideas? I hate to bump my own thread, but there has to be a plugin or something to do this.

    yes. you can do this for 301 redirect.

    ASP:
    Response.Status="301 Moved Permanently"
    Response.AddHeader "Location","http //yourdomainx com/"
    Response.End

    PHP:
    header("HTTP/1.1 301 Moved Permanently")ï¼›
    header("Location:http //yourdomainx com");
    exit()ï¼›

    if you use wordpress, you can edit your page.php.

    why don't you just forward that main domain with masking or just get a new domain and forward that with masking?

    Have u understood what they all said?
    you can just make file "MyClickBankProduct.php" and write in it:
    Code:
    <?php
    header ('Location: http://www.yourafflink.com');
    ?>
    and put it in your wordpress folder.

    Hi

    The simplest and easiest way, that doesn't need any explanation here is install the pretty link plugin for Wordpress ( the free option is enough)

    End of

    Cheers
