I recently bought a new domain at 1and1 but I don't like the hosting they have, so I would like to transfer the domain to my hostgator account but they said i need to wait 60 days for this. Is their anything else i can do to avoid waiting 60 days?

You could just change the nameservers to point to hostgator instead of transferring the domain ;)

Yeah i agree with Neejam, transferring the domain will probably cost you money.
Some hosts say that changing nameservers can take up to 48 hours maximum.

    Best regards

No, you can't go around the 60-day rule. They introduced it last year so they can combat spammers and spammy domain transfers.

What you can do is change your name servers. Also, don't use 1and1 as your domain registrar. They have a terrible reputation for using all kinds of questionable techniques to pinch more money out of their customers.
