Hello (how do I turn off constant cloudflare verification here?)

Hey, long time lurker, first time subscriber here. I'm a whitehat type of gal but like to discuss other people's experiences too.

Question: My comp is semi-secured for privacy with about:config changes from some online list. When I log in here I get the "checking your browser" cloudflare stuff 100% of the time so far and have to do quadruple captchas, 2 look like Google, 2 are from another source.

Is there anything I can do to stop all this? Clearly I'm real and someone/something wants more information than my comp is providing.

Are you using a VPN/proxy?

Be less sketchy

Download their chrome extension. It helps in reducing the captchas.

This could be caused by your IP address (Whether it's your residential or proxy) has demonstrated previous suspicious activity online in the cloudflare network.

You have done something that activated the CF's Firewall

The BHW has blocked the country associated with the your client IP (which I don't believe is the case here)

I have noticed certain pages (Mostly related to Proxy threads/sections) always bring up the CF's verification page for me

We are constantly reviewing ways to improve the forum, keep it secure and improve things that frustrate the community. One such item that frustrates the community is spam posts and one way to prevent these is to use captcha's. Instead of blanket forcing it for everyone the system implemented picks which users based upon a lot of different factors so some will see it more than others.
For obvious reasons we are not going to disclose the rules that are used to pick which users are shown the captcha but many items are taken into consideration and these are constantly reviewed and altered to minimise false positives.

We apologise if this causes anyone any issues but it is a necessary precaution for the forum. Please note we did use hCaptcha as you can then use Privacy Pass to minimise it. Again this won't suit everyone as you can't please everyone all of the time but certainly seems to work well for the majority.
