Hello everyone! I'm jimmy and I have always loved this forum before signing up. I'm new to this world and have my own business that I would like to secure more.

I'm getting Microsoft azure as a VM ***removed*** - explain to me how proxies/vpns/ virtual machines work and how I can make myself a little more anonymous online.(not in a bad way, just to be safer and protect information).

It would be better for you to start a thread and ask your questions about anonymity there. Everything you want to know can be found with a Google search.
Remember some people will try to take your money and they may not know anything about trying to be invisible on the internet.
There is no such thing as 100% anonymity so it really depends on what you are up to that will decide how many layers you need.
Using a combination of Tor, anonymous proxies, VPS and VPN can make you harder to identify but you must understand the risks involved with each tool.

If you want to ask any questions here in the thread then people will try to help you for free, if you need somebody to actually set up software etc then the HaF section is more suitable, but be very wary of who you Hire, make sure they have been an active member of the community and appear to be respected and trustworthy, carry out the necessary Due Diligence to avoid getting ripped off. good luck

Otherwise, as W130SN said, you're better off asking questions in the forum to get through it yourself. If you're determined to let someone rip you off, then there's nothing we can do to stop you, but you've been given some very sound advice. I'd recommend you work through this first.
