    Hey Guys,

I discovered this forum last week and have been trying to perform some SEO optimisations but am having hard time.

Can you guys give me any practical tips on what do to?
I'm trying to practice on a local niche but even that It's not working out for me.... and I thought it would be easy

Only 900 searches per month on googl.... all local
    I've tried the following...

I started out prety good I think (if it's not luck)
    Day 1: registered domain then
First I used BMD and got about 40 bookmarks on the search term
Day2 : page is on bottom of googles page! woohoooo !

    But then it starts...
redesigned the website and added more "quality content"
Then added 12 new bookmarks + 8 blogposts on the search term
then I used BMD again: and I bookmarked the 8 blogposts
used a few free tools to add 3000-4000 backlinks. (don't know if this really works)
One of the higher ranking pages is a forum... so I posted the link on that forum....

Watching googl now for a few days... And literaly nothing happens....

I don't know what I'm doing wrong. If I can't even get this local rediculous niche on top of googl... what am I supposed to do?

Tips are most welcome, but please only if you tried them yourself...
There is already so much info to parse....

    Help is most welcome...

How old is the site? It sometimes takes months to get high ranked with a site, no idea how long with a keyword with such a low amount of searches, it's not even worth going for a keyword with only 900 monthly searches imo.
