I already tried site: "submit article" and tried also to copy past some phrase from top articles and search in google to see where else did they post it.
So do you know some good, fresh article and Press release directories list, or other way to find them?
    Thank you in advance!

Google search is the best option to find them. Try some advanced search methods with some search strings as you tried earlier, try variants of it and you will hit jackpot :)

Are there other footprints besides site:"add your article" and site:"submit article"?

No one is going to spoon feed you 'new' backlinks sources. Those sites are an asset. Anything posted would just get spammed to death.

But... you can find your own sites...

    1. Run the following google search "site:blackhatworld.com article repository" or "site:blackhatworld.com press release"

    2. Read though all the threads

    3. Look for the underlying concepts behind the advice given, derive your own framework

    4. Search for new sites based on your framework. Test your hypothesis.

    5. Rinse and Repeat
