Hello, about domain hosting

i googled like top 10 domain registrars and so.

So few months ago, i check a website it says hosting domain for as low as $0.5 / month, but maybe i pick the wrong selection, it charges me $15.

So i wanted to buy some domain name again, and in namecheap, it say as low as $3.98/year, but once i register the website, it only have the option of $10 buck/year. Why?

Basically i just wanted to buy the domain name and keep it, as long as the domain name does not get steal, it is okay.

So any suggestion!? Thanks

You are buying a domain name for a certain period most commonly a year after that you have to renew your subscription. Check what the additional fees are.

If you can try godaddy and Bigrock, You can get .com for $2 in both registrar if you are new customer.
