Okay guys, I need your help kinda quick.

I have built a low amount of High PR backlinks and they are DAMN effective. I am already #1 on Google for my keyword and I didnt expected that much (been indexed for 7 days). The thing is that my niche is really competitive and my competitors might steal my backlinks. I would like to create some "junk" PR0 backlinks to hide all others good backlinks.

What would be the best way to "protect/hide" my current backlinks?

I know that with Yahoo Site Explorer, you can only see 1000 backlinks and nothing more than that so If I top this number then alot of my backlinks will be hidden.

The thing is that my site is fairly new and I only have +- 50 Backlinks. I cant spam as hell to get 1000 BLs cause I might get in serious trouble.

    What can I do?

    J0kerz,
    ;)

Go to digitalpoint and buy a few sitewide links on sites with 1000+ indexed pages.

It can even be nofollow if you want.

It will only cost you $30 or so but sounds like it would be worth it for you.

Hire some blog posters, send out articles, get some directory listings. That will hide most of your high PR backlinks.

I could do that but Ill then get 1000+ Backlinks at once and I might get penalised by Google.

yeah, there are some sites where you drop one backlink and it will show up as 20-100+ because it's showing up in different language versions.

    ex.
    backlinksite.com/us
    backlinksite.com/au
    backlinksite.com/uk
    backlinksite.com/cn
    backlinksite.com/jp
    etc.

However, if competition is using Market Samurai, all they have to do is sort your backlinks by PR and they immediately find the good ones...

I have been having similar thoughts as you about protecting backlinks, and have been attempting to test using only maybe 4 web 2.0 backlinks pointing to my main site, and then just super juice those 4 with tons of backlinks...

This is EVIL! I tried that with one of my website and got sandboxed. I will never ever use the "Top commenters" strategy.

At the moment, Im commenting on multiple PR0 Blogs related to my niche. Im getting related content backlinks while hiding valuables backlinks.

Another idea, forum signatures. If you want to stay low key, wrap the anchor text around periods, commas, etc. Or you can even hide them in a smiley :)

If the forum is popular it will get indexed in 30 min, and if your thread is popular you will get multiple backlinks quickly.
